Jenell Stewart, lifestlye and hair guru founded Kinky Curly Coily Me in hopes to educate women on the natural hair lifestyle and journey to uplift and embrace their roots. KCCM has become one of the leading and most influential natural hair care websites for women of color in the areas of education and support. Before her natural journey, Janell dreamed of attending law school and working her way through various political positions in order to become an attorney general but, realized that it was not her calling due to her passion for education. She received a Bachelors of the Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Rhode Island, followed by a Masters in Special Education from Brooklyn College. She is recognized as a public speaker, guru, beauty expert and business owner and alongside the KCCM brand, she has been featured by the Dr. Oz television show, Essence Magazine, Black Enterprise.com, VibeVixen.com, CurvyMagazine.com, BlackHairMedia.com, RollingOut.com, and CurlyNikki.com just to name a few. In 2014, Jenell won the Root Top 100 People's Choice award and was later listed by The Root.com as one of the 15 Savvy Social Media Stars You Should Be Following Now. With a purpose to educate as well as shed light on African American beauty brands (SheaMoisutre, HairFinity,Motions,etc) Jenell is empowering women across the globe to embrace their natural beauty and live an extraordinary life by doing so!
